1.उपराष्ट्रपति एम वेंकैया नायडू द्वारा हैदराबाद के डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम मिसाइल काम्पलेक्स में दो नई सुविधाओं का उद्घाटन किया गया। 

2.रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह द्वारा गणतंत्र दिवस 2021 की पूर्व संध्या पर www.gallantryawards.gov.in वीरता पुरस्कार पोर्टल का नवीनतम संस्करण लॉन्च किया गया। 

2. दिनांक 21 से 25 जनवरी 2021 तक अंडमान तथा निकोबार द्वीप समूह में बड़े पैमाने पर सेना के तीनों अंगों का संयुक्त जल-थल-नभ युद्धाभ्यास एम्फीमेक्स -21 का आयोजन हुआ था।

3.जापान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री शिंजो आबे तथा दिवंगत गायक एस पी बालासुब्रह्मण्यम को इस साल भारत के दूसरे सबसे बड़े नागरिक सम्मान पद्म विभूषण से नवाजा  गया है।

4.डीआरडीओ द्वारा ओडिशा के तट से दूर एकीकृत परीक्षण रेंज से आकाश-एनजी (नई पीढ़ी की) मिसाइल का सफलतापूर्वक पहला प्रक्षेपण किया गया। 

5.केन्द्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’ द्वारा आभासी माध्यम के जरिये ‘एग्री-फूड टेकाथॉन 2021’ का उद्घाटन किया गया।

6.फिक्की के आर्थिक परिदृश्य सर्वेक्षण के नये दौर के अनुसार, भारत के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद अर्थात जीडीपी में वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 में 8% की गिरावट दर्ज होने का अनुमान है। 

7.भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी सीन देसाई को फुटबॉल टीम शिकागो बीयर्स की रक्षापंक्ति के लिये नया समन्वयक नियुक्त किया गया है तथा इस तरह से वह नेशनल फुटबॉल लीग अर्थात एनएफएल में यह पद संभालने वाले भारतीय मूल के प्रथम नागरिक हो गये हैं।

8.जम्मू-कश्मीर के केरन सेक्टर में पिछले साल अप्रैल में आतंकवाद रोधी अभियान के दौरान शहीद होने वाले सूबेदार संजीव कुमार देश के दूसरे सर्वोच्च शांतिकाल पुरस्कार कीर्ति चक्र से सम्मानित किये किये जायेंगे।

9.पिछले वर्ष जून 2020 में पूर्वी लद्दाख में गलवान घाटी में चीनी सेना के हमले के खिलाफ अपने सैनिकों का नेतृत्व करने वाले कर्नल बी. संतोष बाबू को मरणोपरांत दूसरे सबसे बड़े सैन्य सम्मान महावीर चक्र से से सम्मानित किया गया है।

10.भारत और मोहन बागान के पूर्व गोलकीपर प्रशांत डोरा का 44 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया।

1. Two new facilities were inaugurated at Hyderabad by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.

2. The latest version of the www.gallantryawards.gov.in Bravery Awards Portal was launched by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on the eve of Republic Day 2021.

2. Amphimex-21, a joint hydropower maneuver of the three Army wings, was organized on a large scale in Andaman and Nicobar Islands from 21 to 25 January 2021.

3. Former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam have been awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honor this year.

4. Aakash-NG (new generation) missile was successfully launched by DRDO from an integrated test range off the coast of Odisha.

5. 'Agri-Food Teacathon 2021' was inaugurated through virtual medium by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.

6. According to the new round of FICCI Economic Scenario Survey, India's GDP ie GDP is projected to fall by 8% in FY 2020-21.

7. Indian-American Sean Desai has been appointed as the new coordinator for the defense of the football team Chicago Bears and thus he became the first Indian-origin citizen to hold this position in the National Football League ie NFL.

8. Subedar Sanjeev Kumar, who was martyred during the Anti-Terrorism Campaign in Jammu and Kashmir's Keran sector in April last year, will be honored with the Kirti Chakra, the country's second highest peacetime award.

9. In the last year June 2020, Colonel B. B., who led his troops against the attack of the Chinese army in the Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh.  Santosh Babu has been posthumously awarded the second highest military honor Mahavir Chakra.

10. Prashant Dora, former goalkeeper of India and Mohun Bagan, died at the age of 44.
